Creative Maker

Why do we need you?

Urban Wilderness dress up Longton Town Centre with big events and installations and we need lots of hands to help to make big, bright things.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Making things with your hands 

  • Learning some easy skills

  • Working as part of a team

Who will this suit?

People who want to spend time with like-minded people.

You can come alone or with friends or a group.

People who enjoy working with their hands, or are interested in learning.

People who want to make a difference within the community.

What you will need: Equipment, skills

You will need to use your hands for most activities.

All equipment will be provided.

If you have special skills (sewing, photography, woodwork) please let us know and we can make use of them!

Bring your own lunch if you stay the whole session.

When:

WEDNESDAYS, 11am - 2pm.

Come for the whole session, or drop in for any part of it.

Where:

The Moony Club, 25 Bennett Precinct, Longton Exchange.

How often:

Weekly during October 2023.

How we’ll all know if it’s going well:

We will review at the end of every session.

If you have feedback you can provide it anonymously.

You will report to:

Laurel Gallagher leads Creative Makers sessions.

What we will give you:

Warm space, free drinks and snacks, full training.

We can support with travel costs, please ask.
