Would you like to be part of an energising, fun day in Longton town centre?
The Winter Gathering is a celebration of winter, happening in Longton town centre on Saturday 14th December 2024 from 11am to 5pm. There will be theatre performances, live music, street food, fun fair rides, a parade and even a real camel! The Winter Gathering is FREE to attend and everyone is welcome.
We need a team of volunteers to help bring The Winter Gathering to life and keep things safe for everyone. Volunteer roles include:
Event Stewards - Our friendly team of Event Stewards share event information, give directions and manage groups of people
Performance Stewards - Performance Stewards enjoy being at the heart of the entertainment, smiling, dancing and supporting our performers
Site Dressing Team - Our events depend on trusted Site Dressing volunteer teams who are up early to decorate the streets and stay late to clear away

All volunteers must attend our Volunteer Training Day on Saturday 7th December, 10am - 12noon. We will provide full training and information, covering health & safety and the roles and responsibilities and you will be able to sign up to the role that best suits you.
