Winter Wastelands was produced by Urban Wilderness CIC as a gift to the community during the winter lockdown of 2020/2021, sharing and celebrating creative ways that people across Stoke-on-Trent responded to the emotional and social challenges of the pandemic. The programme highlighted how local residents and artists used creativity, green spaces and communal rituals to stay connected during a difficult Midlands winter.
