Provocations in Green Spaces: arts council: June - Dec 2020
Five artists local to Stoke on Trent were commissioned to develop new work exloring their changing relationships with doorstep green spaces during lockdown 2020. We chose to work with artists whose work problematises and celebrates hyper-local green spaces. Each of these projects asks questions that are important to the values of our organisation: young people in green spaces; racial inequality in green spaces; environmental concerns about green spaces; hope and connection through green spaces; and who is able to claim ownership of our public green spaces and why.

winter wastelands: National Lottery Community Fund: Oct 2020 - jan 2021
Thanks to funding from the Reaching Communities program we were able to commission another 4 artists from the Wastelands call out whose work addressed our growing concerns about how to connect with communities during winter 2020.
We challenged these artists to explore creative ways of dealing with difficult emotions and loneliness. Their projects explore the power of ritual and affirmations to create a sense of connection and community in these challenging times.
