Join Urban Wilderness CIC for a spectacular Winter Gathering 2025. Enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment and festive performances, leading up to a breathtaking parade of giant illuminated puppets and mesmerising fire show that will bring the park to life.
Parade arrival time for participants: 3.15pm
Doomsday Morris perform: 4:30pm - 5pm
Parade begins: 5pm - 5:30pm
Fire Performance: 5:30pm - 5:45pm
Accessibility
Queen’s Park is step free and wheelchair accessible. Toilets are available onsite.
Parking Information
Parking is on the street, so you will need to find a space on the roads surrounding the park. Please check for parking restrictions and signs before leaving your car, as rules may vary.
Alternative Option: The Longton Exchange Car Park, in the town centre offers pad parking and is just a short walk away.

Parade Performer
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the fun in this year’s Winter Gathering Parade. Happening at dusk, the parade will be led by drum and brass band KiLNE, with giant lantern puppets, glowing willow lanterns, and fiery finale. If you are interested in wearing a headdress, carrying a lantern, or bringing your own creative twist. Come and Chat with us on:
