Summer Creative Workshops

  • Urban Wilderness CIC 15 Bennett Precinct Stoke-on-Trent, England, ST3 2HT United Kingdom (map)

Every Wednesday through the school holidays, join our welcoming team in a range of arts activities.

The last 3 weeks will be 89 Seconds Workshops, celebrating women’s peace activism and standing against nuclear weapons.

Create a giant peace sign with flowers, as well as banner printing and badge making.

We will provide materials and instructions.

This week we will also be singing women’s protest songs, including some from Greenham Common.

Accessibility

The venue is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Toilets are gender-neutral but located up two flights of stairs, which may be difficult for those with accessibility needs. The nearest accessible toilet is at Tesco Extra, a five-minute walk away.

Longton Train Station is less than a 5-minute walk from the venue. There are multiple bus stops along The Strand, with services to and from Newcastle and Hanley.
