Urban Wilderness CIC are privileged to partner with Staffordshire Police and domestic violence charities to host an art exhibition in March 2026. This creative collaboration will provide a space for female victims of violence and abuse to explore their vulnerability and resilience through visual and creative expression.
You are welcome to participate by creating artwork as a survivor of domestic violence, a friend or family member of a survivor or connected to domestic violence in some way.
Anonymity is available and all work can be submitted without names.
Suggested artworks could be 3D, 2D, collage, mixed media, writing, spoken words.
Step into an inspiring in person gathering where stories come alive over warm coffee & cake. This event is all about embracing courage and walking a mile in each other's shoes.

The venue is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Toilets are gender-neutral but located up two flights of stairs, which may be difficult for those with accessibility needs. The nearest accessible toilet is at Tesco Extra, a five-minute walk away.
There are various parking options in Longton. Longton Train Station is less than a 5-minute walk from the venue. There are multiple bus stops along The Strand, with services to and from Newcastle and Hanley.
