Are you aged 13 - 18? Would you like to be part of the Pig Walk Parade? Would you like to create parade costumes?
Longton Carnival & Pig Walk Parade is back this year on Sunday 26th April. The parade will take place from 3pm down The Strand in the centre of Longton, led by drum and brass parade band KiLNE, with giant puppets and colourful carnival costumes, inspired by the story of the Pig Walk.
This year, we are joining in the National Year of Reading, celebrating your favourite old stories.
Come along to share your ideas, help choose this year’s theme, and plan the making and practice workshops for the parade.
Workshops and participation are completely free. Please sign up using the link below so we can manage numbers.
